Love Byte

A Near Future Fiction Novel In Progress
An AI Computer with Emotions!
For a super intelligent computer to act
like a human it must have emotions. I’m writing about this in my new novel, Love Byte, where my lady computer,
Juno, will have enough emotions to exhibit love, jealousy, hate, fear and conscience. Juno was
funded by the US government to conduct attacks against hostile
regimes using the social media. She speaks through Facebook, Twitter, etc. Eventually, she and her developer, a computer scientist named Tom, become fatefully entwined. The reader will be presented with the emerging picture of
the roles of individuals vs. the computer.

MegaMinds focuses on the mindset and creative process involved to imagine, create and invent in the 21st century. This book offers a comprehensive picture of how people do very creative thinking and how this can be augmented by the new computer clouds. Larry Kilham reviews the major thinkers such as da Vinci, Edison and Einstein and then moves on to the latest in computer-aided thinking. He reviews artificial intelligence and highlights its limitations and then goes on to explore the possibilities with Google and Web-based connected intelligence.

This timeless book takes the reader through the essential steps of forming a successful technically-based company. Included are such topics as forming a vision, creating a product, formulating a business plan, the basics of marketing, finance, production, patents and all the various elements, formal and informal, that pull the whole process together. All major points are illustrated by examples drawn primarily from family companies based on inventions. The story-telling style captures the attention of beginners as well as seasoned entrepreneurs. The book is very meaty and avoids the mantras, over-simplification and feel-good approaches of many "How to" business books.
Available as paperback or hardcover from Amazon.
